I uninstalled Valorant because I don't have the time to commit to playing 21ish rounds. Here's a quick tl;dr for those that ran into issues trying to uninstall Valorant. There are extra steps to take that you would not normally do for a standard program. Close Vanguard (the anti-cheat for Valorant).

Delete the folders manually and then delete it from control panel uninstall programs. Just search for "Riot" and "Vanguard" on your PC through the document option. Delete everything you find.
