31 sie 2023 · A work around for the iPad not charging if it's out of warranty is to use the Magic Keyboard for iPad. It has a charging port on the left side and it will charge your iPad. For some reason, that USB C connector is working for me as it should.
My iPad Pro [A1652] will not charge using the Apple charger or other chargers. I tried using the Apple lightning cable and several other types…no luck. I experimented with repositioning the cable many ways, it would charge at times if I help the cable in a certain position.
