11 cze 2006 · I am planning on changing the transmission/hydraulic oil for my MF 1260 tractor. The owners manual recomends Permatran III, which is very expensive, or SAE 80 GL4. The local oil company does not have the fore mentioned SAE oil but does have SAE80/90 GL5. Would this substitute oil be okay for my tractor. Thanks, Donald56
21 gru 2004 · Walmart sells a tractor transmission-hydraulic fluid that is supposed to be equivalent to all the name brand fluids that the dealers carry. Its name is Tech something or something Tech. Has anyone tried this fluid?
9 maj 2015 · The book says Hy-tran plus (#MS1207) for the transaxle. I sent someone up to the dealer to get me oil yesterday. What they gave him was Hy-tran ultraction (#MAT3540). I don't know if this is just a newer version, or if it is the wrong oil. The dealer is closed today so I can't call them to ask.
