Trading in your phone, tablet, smartwatch or other device is easy with our Device Trade-in Program. Just tell us the device and its condition and you’ll get a new one, instant credit, account credit, or gift card.
If you turn in your phone, tablet or smartwatch at a Verizon store, you can get an instant appraisal and a credit while you wait. If you choose to trade-in online, expect your gift card (for guest users) at least two weeks from the time Verizon receives your device, or your credit (for My Verizon users) within 1-3 bill cycles after appraisal.
26 maj 2021 · You could put the money in a CD or savings account that earns interest and when your current device payment agreement is completed, you will have money already set aside to possibly purchase a new phone at the full retail price or put down a large deposit on next device payment agreement.
If you want to pay the phone off early at some point you will lose all the remaining credits and will be responsible for the remaining balance in full. If you want or need the entire amount at once you need to sell the phone outright to a private seller or through a marketplace like eBay or Swappa.
