Turn off game file transfer and boom, 750Mbps sustained download on the steam deck. I have a 1Gbps fiber connection. My educated guess would be Valve simply just included a hard limit on their game file transfer feature.

There are multiple factors that can cause this. Either your ISP is throttling your network, or (if) it hits 0 download speed but your disk is still being used, steam is just waiting for the downloaded files to be decompressed before continuing to download. Hence the speed drops.

6 lut 2019 · unable to load YouTube video. Just like clearing the download cache, clearing the appcache can fix download issues and is a very common fix for general download issues. Exit Steam > navigate to where Steam is installed > Delete the appcache folder > Open Steam and test the issue again.
