Honestly i felt shield defenses were pretty good, so i slotted ALL my powers with an emphasis on building resistances. i dont think damage or accuracy is a huge priority. i did not spend a lot on my build and have 40-45% positional defenses (with phalanx fighting off) and 30%+ resistances to all.
To get 6 slot bonuses, you have to 6 slot a power with the full set. You can slot 2 and get the 2 enhancement bonus only, it's just extra stats for using consistent sets basically. But those extra stats add up.

The /SR is the most survivable brute I have ever made. Make sure to take aid self eventually though! If you make a /sr and solo a lot then I suggest running missions at -1/+4 or something like that.
8 wrz 2015 · -Swap slotting between Weave and Grant cover. Weave is a higher end/sec power, Cystos Hami-Os would workout better in that. -Adding Explosive Strike to Shield Charge can change the knockdown ability of SC into a knockback.
