2 mar 2023 · The Bernina sewing machine can hem stretch fabric in two different ways. The first way is using the blind hem stitch. To do this, lower the presser foot lever and raise the needle to its highest position.
You can sew stretchy fabric on any regular sewing machine with a few adjustments. Use a zig-zag or stretch stitch that will move with the fabric, and switch to a ballpoint or stretch needle. You’ll want to sew slowly and steadily, to ensure your fabric doesn’t roll or twist.

29 wrz 2015 · Change your needle to a ballpoint needle and use a zig zag stitch on your sewing machine, and it took me 4 seconds to say that. The image above shows a zig zag stitch on knit fabric that I did on my Bernina 350. If you stretch the fabric the stitches should not break.
