Steam->DayZ->Right Click Play ->Play DayZ -> MODS. If anything is selected, Click "Unload All". Goto SERVERS, pick one from FAVORITES / RECENT / FRIENDS / OFFICIAL / COMMUNITY / LAN. Click Join -> Setup DLC and Mods and join.
Make sure to check the DayZ Standalone Path in the DZSA Launcher (Settings, DayZ Standalone Path, browse) and that both programs are on the same drive. Or just use the official launcher that works really good right now: Steam, Dayz, Run Dayz, in the official launcher go to Servers, find your server, join and then "Download mods and join".
