  2. The Local button means that the object is rotated about the last edited point rather than the object’s pivot (central point). Turn this off to see if you can control the rotation more easily. The axis buttons lower down. Try turning on the Y axis button instead of the free rotate.

  3. 11 paź 2021 · hope this helps. There’s a “Mirror” button in the Tool --> Modifiers --> Deformation menu. Select the axis and press the button to mirror the object. Not to be confused with “Flip” which flips the normals of the object’s polygons, turning it “inside out”.

  5. When you turn on local symmetry, you can only move the pad across X or Y axis, but as soon as you rotate the subtool, it all falls apart. Why can't the symmetry just look at your gizmo position and just base the symmetry on that? It's already centered in your mesh.
