I have the same Nook, BNRV300, updated to 1.2.1 and use Adobe Digital Editions version 4.5 with it and it works for downloading books from the library. What you can do is to import the books from ADE into Calibre, then transfer the books to your Nook from there.
21 cze 2018 · If you have an older Nook ereader or Nook tablet, you will need to make sure the software is updated by June 30th to keep the device working properly. If you don't update your Nook it will lose the ability to download books and future software updates, and you'll no longer be able to purchase.
Once you've followed the XDA guide and your Nook has rebooted (don't bother signing-in or anything, connect your Nook to your PC, copy the newest update downloaded from B&N (1.2.2) and do what you did before (sleep the Nook and wait)
Issue Resolved. My family member has an 1st gen Nook SimpleTouch with Glowlight that needs a firmware update, and it has to be done manually. I've downloaded the appropriate firmware zip file from the Barnesandnoble site, but upon transferring the file to the Nook, nothing happens.
