You'll also need a lot time and cotton balls or soft rags. Don't use anything with paper in it. That will scratch the metal.

  5. Title makes it obvious what this post is. For more context, I have a 30gig iPod 5th generation and the back is scratched to all hell. I want to keep the back for originality but have no idea how to make it look a bit better. Any tips? Also I have tried common remedies that have been mentioned online, such as white vinegar and toothpaste.

  7. 14 maj 2022 · Sadly there is little you can do to fix a LCD glass surface. Some iPod models have a cover glass (some are plastic) which can be replaced and if plastic a good polish can lessen a deep scratch but at a cost! As you will leave smaller scratches which show up at an angle. - iPod Classic
