12 sie 2021 · I have a peavey standard 260H that i am trying to date. the serial number is 5a-42240. haven't had luck figuring out the manufature date. i read somewhere that the first two numbers were the production year, but this amp is definitely not from 42. thanks guys.

20 mar 2023 · peavey does have a serial number look up @ peavey.com under customer service at bottom of page
6 maj 2003 · Go to the Peavey site forums at Peavey.com and ask, you'll get all the info you need there. They are quite helpful.
7 kwi 2014 · ÷÷===Serial numbers=== Serial numbers correlate to shipping dates of US models only. 1978 to 1995. Imports designated by EX, EXP, or BXP are not serialized by year.

Due to the volume of quality products that have been manufactured and sold over time, Peavey gets an ever-increasing number of requests for information such as "born on dates" for older products.
