Mycity is a module that is city-like. In it houses can be bought and various jobs and quests are available. At least 4 players are required for the module to play at non-international rooms (en-#mycity[1-9]) and at least 2 players for international rooms (*#mycity[1-9]).
Maps are the main levels of Transformice and are played across rounds. Maps can be created by players and submitted to the Atelier 801 forum using the code given when submitting. Maps are reviewed by the Map Crew.
Great maps are getting low ratings, while crummy maps are getting high ratings. I am writing this to see what attributes makes up a perfect transformice map. I am open for discussion and criticism, but hear me out for the following: Simplicity: Transformice is based off of simple maps.
Transformice restricts certain symbols in the map editor, and some options have a character limit so this is why editing your XML outside of the game is vital. In order to edit the XML code of your map, you need to copy-paste it from Transformice Map Editor.
Being able to create joints directly into an existing map without having to use seperate programs is something the mapmaking community has needed for a long time, and I feel like this map editor has the potential to fulfill that dream. In any way, this is much more convenient than the existing in-game map editor, so +1 from me.
Note: Press space + click/drag to move the map around in the Map Editor! This can be done without scrolling but is most usefull in scrolling maps! Note: H="800" is the Max height your map can get. This includes L="1600" with an exception for Defilante. Note: Y axis scrolling has been added to the game as of 23-10-13 :D.
