We are the only meal delivery organization in the state that serves anyone of any age, for any reason, and that can provide eight medically tailored diets without qualifications or specific requirements for service.
Q: How do I apply for Meals on Wheels New Mexico? A: You, a family member or a professional caregiver may apply online (click here to apply online); by telephone by calling 505-808-MEAL (6325), Monday – Friday between 9:00am – 2:00pm; or email clients@mow-nm.org.
If you do meet the eligibility requirements for Meals on Wheels, you can expect to receive a set of seven frozen nutritious meals delivered to your home by a friendly Meals On Wheels Delivery Driver. The program also provides additional resources, you can obtain information by calling our office.
Catholic Charities delivers meals directly to homebound seniors in Las Vegas and North Las Vegas at no cost to the recipient. The Meals on Wheels Program delivers a set of seven nutritionally balanced, frozen meals to approximately 2,450 clients each and every week throughout the year.
Most Meals on Wheels programs begin the process through an application, which may then lead to an assessment of the need for meals and other supportive services. Some programs may additionally require a referral letter from a doctor or social worker. Contact your local program to find out how to get the ball rolling in your community.
