I made this with Crispix cereal instead of the Chex (because I couldn't decide between corn or rice and crispix has BOTH!!!) and just poured the powdered sugar over the chocolate-coated cereal, folding very gently to cover everything.

The cute hexagon shape of Crispix is more appealing than the squares too. You can use Chex for this recipe, but Crispix cereal really does make the BEST puppy chow!
