Exercise Instructions. Grab an EZ bar or barbell with an overhand grip or underhand grip. You grip should be about shoulder-width apart. Slightly wider or narrower is fine. Stand up with the barbell in front of your thighs. Use your front deltoids to raise the bar out in front of you.
