Ever wanted to make a player tracking compass so that you could do Minecraft Manhunts just like Dream? Well this video will tell you how.
How it works. EDIT: This datapack does not use /setworldspawn to track the player, since it'll mess up the hunters' spawnpoints and won't work in the nether or the end. What is actually happening is that There is an invisible armor stand following the runner that has a lodestone compass in its feet slot.
The only way you could make a compass that tracks the player in vanilla minecraft, is constantly setting the world spawn on the running player. But this would ruin the experience because everytime the hunter dies he will spawn at the runner.
