In early summer 2013 I bought a beat down bicycle, made by NSU (germany). According to the frame number it was built around 1952. The idea was (and still is) to create a bike worthy and capable of towing my red kids-trailer. This instructable is about straightening the frame of this bike.
Here's the solution- it's one of technique- an easy technique! When you start out from a dead stop, don't try sitting on the seat. Stand over the bike frame, with one foot flat on the ground and the other foot on one pedal at the bottom of its stroke.

20 cze 2013 · A couple of things to tide you over: Obviously, put the seat down as far as you can. If the post can't go any lower, you might see if you can get a shorter post, or have the current post "chopped" to a shorter length (although that will probably cost you). Move the seat as far forward as possible.
