The hard way is to buy bare antenna wire with a couple of insulators for either end and mount that. The easy way is to buy (or otherwise locate) a length of insulated wire. (Radio signals don't care if the wire is insulated or not.)
Using an eye-hook at each point, attach a length of nylon rope. Tie the other end of the nylon rope to each insulator. The bare copper wire is strung from between the insulators, as shown in the diagram. Use an insulated wire to connect to the copper wire at the end closest to your radio.
Step 1: The compact version allows easy storage -suitable portable & traveling needs. 3 metres (~10 feet) of cheap 8 wire cable will resonate nicely over most of the upper 500kHz -1.7MHz MW Broadcast Band with a common 6-160 pF variable capacitor.
29 wrz 2021 · How to Make an AM Loop Antenna. Here’s a simple AM loop antenna structure that’s more efficient than various loop antenna styles. Plus, it’s a less expensive way to increase the reception range of your AM radio. Check out the circuit diagram below: Circuit Components. For this AM loop antenna, you will need: 1.(1) #35 enameled copper wire
This DIY AM antenna is best used outdoors but you can make it work inside by somehow re-routing the wires. It amplifies all weak AM signals, so a powerful local station might be heard over your entire AM radio dial. Here is what you need: 100' or more of any type of insulated wire you can easily work with
4 maj 2020 · In this DIY tutorial, we are demonstrating an AM Loop Antenna in detail. It enhances all feeble AM signals thus improving faint radio signals. So, every nearby station can be heard over your AM radio dial. Amplitude Modulation (AM) radio recipients can utilize an assortment of receiving wire designs. Additionally, this easy and simple circuit ...
