PythonWin is a free software package that has to be installed separately from ArcGIS. A version of PythonWin that works with ArcGIS Desktop is installed on the NSOE machines, but PythonWin is linked to a specific installation of Python and thus this version only works with Python 2.x.

31 maj 2021 · To install PythonWin on a windows computer, you need to install ‘ Python for Windows Extensions ‘ from SourceForge. The link for the PyWin is : https://sourceforge.net/projects/pywin32/ The SourceForge page would appear something like this: Select the Get option and select the latest suitable version for your computer.
You can do this by executing: python Scripts/pywin32_postinstall.py -install. From the root of your Python installation. If you do this with normal permissions it will be global for your user (a few files will be copied to the root of your Python install and some changes made to HKCU).
