27 mar 2023 · Go to the website where you can get F4SE, download the zip file appropriate to your game (regular or VR), extract the contents of that zip file to the Data folder in your F4 directory, launch the game through F4SE_Loader.
Step 1: Download. Go to the F4SE download page [f4se.silverlock.org]. Download the Fallout 4 runtime and unzip it with 7-Zip. Step 2: Install directory. Go to your Fallout 4 default installation folder. It's inside the Steam folder, which is dependent on your installation path.

Vortex may be more beginner-friendly, but modding can often be eclectic and chaotic; mods can have different custom install methods that don't always translate well to a simple drag-and-drop install.
24 lis 2015 · Add a new row and select Fallout4.exe as the process and f4se_1_*_*.dll as the library to load. From now on you can select Fallout4 to run the game instead of F4SE since MO2 will force it to load the F4SE dll. All the f4se plugins installed via MO2 should now work ingame.
