28 sty 2012 · Easiest way to do this: 1) Cut off the existing pvc/hose coupler and extend new pvc past the break in the hose. That way you are filling in the removed material with pvc and not with new hose. 2)Once your PVC extends past the break in the hose material glue a "threaded bushing" onto the pvc pipe.

21 cze 2024 · To install a PVC union on your pool pump, first, turn off the power to the pump. Next, use a hacksaw to cut the PVC pipe where the union will be installed. Then, apply PVC primer to the outside of the pipe and the inside of the union, followed by PVC glue.
Steps: Unscrew the slip union assembly (separates into 2 sections) Clean each end of the 2 PVC pipes to be connected. Apply PVC cement to to each end of pipes. Insert pipe ends into one of the slip union sections. Screw the Union together.
