The Abyss is an aquatic biome added by the Calamity Mod which spawns upon world creation. It is located under the Sulphurous Sea on the Dungeon side of the world through a chasm on the seafloor. It is extremely deep, dark, and perilous, filled with deadly enemies, which increase in strength as the biome grows deeper.

14 maj 2020 · the calamity mod abyss is a multi-layered biome of things that exist mostly solely to kill you,including: drowning , poison , lava particles,brimstone , and laser. the creatures from this biome can attempt to: eat you , crush you, explode you, electrify you, freeze you and burn you.
So it doesn't interfere with the generation. Something similar is with Shadows of Abaddon and it's Empress Den biome that only generates bellow your underground desert. If you generate a world with both SoA and Calamity, the Empress Den will always spawn on the right side of the Sunken Sea

Post Polter is where you have the best options for surviving the abyss. I'd recommend Gills Potions and Abyssal Diving Suit . The Strange Orb light pet can be very helpful for visibility.
8 mar 2023 · There is atleast 1 weapon for each class, which help a lot with the flesh of walls and god slime, plus u may want to collect the pieces for the future abyssal set to explore more the abyss in future. you don't need the shadow key for the post skeletron chests anymore, they unlock after skeletron dies.
