22 paź 2022 · To be able to add mods to the server you would need a jar that is compatible such as Forge, Fabric or Mohist. Mohist supports both forge mods and plugins. Some mods might not be fully compatible with Mohist and some might break your server entirely (BE CAREFUL AND ALWAYS BACKUP).

They offer free virtual machines that you can use to host servers with. I currently have four modded servers running via one VM that I got from oracle. Here is a really good tutorial for hosting a vanilla server. Just change some stuff around to make it work with forge jar files.
