Ready to create layers and add objects in Lucidchart? Open a diagram, and we’ll show you how. To create a layer in Lucidchart: Locate the layers icon in the lower right-hand corner of the screen. The base layer is automatically highlighted in blue and can’t be deleted. To create a layer, click the plus sign next to Layer and give it a name.
