as the title says, shears dont work properly. they cut wool as usual but when cutting string connected to tripwire, instead of just triggering the tripwire hook they just remove the string. are there any mods/fixed that fix this issue ? i dont have any mods that alter how tools work (only client-side and worldgen mods).

It should work on 1.16+ I don't think you can make a faster one, just use fast right click from tweakeroo mod to maximize rates
It works nicely for transmitting a simple on or off state long-range, without using a ton of ugly blocks in a long floating line with redstone on top. Simple and almost invisible. (Note: I edited the string texture to make it slightly more visible for these screenshots.)
