1 maj 2021 · All you have to do is enable Playstation controller support in the Steam controller settings. Steam input will them make sure it works with any controller supporting game. Does that work with DualShock 3 controllers? PS3, PS4 and PS5. Yes.

If they still don't - it's possible that your Dualshock 3 has compatibility problems with the Sony driver, and this guide won't help you. Right now, Dualshock 3 is working in pure DirectInput mode. Steam detects the PS3 controllers when they are plugged in, and allows me to customize their controls, but I'm getting no response from any inputs. Old guides suggest installing third party drivers or PSNow but I am not sure I had to do that before I reinstalled Windows.
