22 sty 2018 · Leave the oil to penetrate the wood for about 2 hours. Wipe off surplus oil with a cloth or kitchen paper. During the first week of use the table top should be treated every second day and after that every third day until the surface is saturated (after about 2 months).
22 mar 2019 · You could use the Behandla applied correctly this time :-) although I don't think it provides enough protection for a working surface in a kitchen myself. Actually using "Danish oil" (usually a varnish and oil blend) is an option, but I think it's better to go straight to varnish myself.

Trzeba być bardzo dokładnym robiąc to z jakimkolwiek olejem lub „wykończeniem olejem”, ponieważ żaden olej nie powinien pozostać na powierzchni . Pozostały olej pozostanie płynny lub stanie się lepki / lepki.
Apply BEHANDLA with brush or pad in a thin, even film. Leave to penetrate the surface for approx. 15 minutes. Wipe off any unabsorbed oil with a soft cloth. Let the surface dry and repeat the oil treatment 1-3 times in accordance with the absorbency of the wood.
Behandla was basically boiled linseed oil but Stockaryd adds tung oil which among other offenses will change the color of wood more (than Behandla), so that’s a no-go for me. 1 sty 2019 · Danish oil over Behandla? Hello! I am new to finishing wood pieces and don't have any extra space on my piece (tabletop) to try out... I started applying ikea's Behandla finish but so far I don't like the result at all and I also don't want to apply it for 2 months.
