10 maj 2015 · How we calculate deciles? We sort set of data with n items (numbers) and pick n/10-th item 1st decile, 2n/10-th item as 2nd decile and so on. If indexes n/10, 2n/10, ..., 9n/10 aren't integers then we use interpolation between nearest items. For example, for n=100 items, the first decile is 10th item of ordered data, 6th decile is 60th item etc.
