15 sty 2021 · The screen doesn´t show anything and the phone doesn´t blink or show any indications that is turned on. Neither while charging. However, the first attempt to put the phone into DFU mode worked and it got recognised by iTunes. I chose the restore option and left the computer.

You can enter DFU Mode on iPhone X by pressing Power and Volume Down buttons in sequence, until you see the black DFU Mode screen.
21 wrz 2018 · If you successfully entered the DFU Mode on your device, your iPhone’s screen should remain black and you see a message on your computer that “iTunes has detected an iPhone in recovery mode. You must restore this iPhone before it can be used with iTunes.”
The way to know a device is in DFU mode is when the display if black but when the device is connected to iTunes, iTunes will prompt that it has detected a device in recovery mode and will then give you the option to manually restore rather than a prompt to update or restore.
Simply, when you put iPhone XR in DFU mode, nothing will appear on the iPhone's screen, it is black. Only iTunes will notify you that a device has been detected. If the Apple logo appears on the screen, it means that you've held the Side button for too long.
