Checkers: How to double/triple jump You can double jump and triple jump as long as they are available. Just select the second or third (farther / farthest) highlighted square when a double or triple jump presents itself.
HOW TO PLAY. Choose to play against the computer or with a friend. Press on a piece to select it and then choose a move or jump, press it again to put it down. Always keep your pieces doubled up diagonally to block your opponent's jumps.
For a double jump, drag and drop twice. Blue goes first. Also called Draughts. Note about multiple jumps: it is a basic rule in checkers that if you can jump (capture) then you must. If after that jump your piece can do another jump then it must (called a "double jump"), and if it can do another it must ("triple jump"), and so on!
However, if an opponent piece is on the square diagonally in front of you and the square behind it is empty then you can (and must!) jump over it diagonally, thereby capturing it. If you land on a square where you can capture another opponent piece you must jump over that piece as well, immediately. One turn can capture many pieces.
