THE THING IS that my microsoft account name is different from my minecraft ingame name. My question is : will the migration affect the ingame name? And generally, how does it manages the names? Does it change some and leaves others unchanged?
When you migrate, you can keep your existing Java username, which they now call a “Minecraft profile name.” So, it’s probably asking you to make an Xbox gamertag for your Microsoft account. The gamertag is different and only used as the in-game name in Bedrock.
