A Player Moderator (also known as a Player Mod, PMod or P-Mod) is a RuneScape player selected by Jagex to help moderate the game [1]. Player Moderators were added to the game on 14 June 2004 [2] [3] and by December 2019 there were 2,364 PMods. [4] As of 2024, there are around 1,800 PMods.

In the latest official version of Master of Magic (v1.31), using all 11 starting "picks" to select Spellbooks from a single Realm grants the player access to a unique feat. It allows starting the game with 3 spells of a higher Rarity than what would otherwise be available at the beginning of a campaign.
