Apply for a loan at least 2 months before classes start to receive your funding at the beginning of the term or up to 6 weeks before the end of your study period. To apply for student loans, follow these steps: Visit the StudentAid BC website and create an account. You will be prompted to log in with your BC Services Card app.
Students applying for part-time funding after 8:30am on November 8th must apply through StudentAid BC’s online application system (SIMS). To avoid delays in submitting your application, set up your BC Services Card account as soon as possible.
Applying for your loan: Go to www.studentaidbc.ca – select login/ register to apply. Select Log in with your BC Services Card. Open the BC Services card app and enter the pairing code.
