You may need an activation code if: You’re offline and have a perpetual license for a standalone 2020 (or earlier) product. You have an education license and are offline. To request an activation code, you must first get a request code. To get one, see Find request code for manual activation.

If for some reason online registration and activation is not possible, you can still to register and activate your product(s) offline. Your registration data can be submitted by email, fax, or phone. Within two business days, your activation code is sent back to you by email or fax.
