You can finely chop and lightly cook (boil or steam) your dog’s cabbage with other vegetable ingredients if you’re making homemade dog food. Or you can sprinkle a little finely chopped and cooked cabbage on top of your dog’s meal by way of a food topper.
If you prefer boiling, simply add the chopped cabbage to a pot of boiling water and cook for 5-7 minutes. Once the cabbage is cooked, allow it to cool before serving it to your dog. You can add a small amount of cooked cabbage to your dog’s regular food as a healthy and nutritious treat.
