18 paź 2019 · Since upgrading to iOS 13, the size of the screen recordings is 3 to 4 times bigger than before. Eg. in iOS 12, a 5 min recording was approx 300MB, but a 5 min recording in iOS 13 is now 1.17GB. I also used to use the edit facility to trim the video and save as a copy.

Likely the difference you are seeing is a combination of screen size differences and iOS version differences defaulting to recording the screen at a higher bitrate with higher quality settings. 1.5GB is a totally normal filesize for a 7 minute video for certain codecs/qualities.
The max I have recorded was about 45 minutes and I thought it didn't save but I saw after about half an hour and it was there. One thing to note is it takes a lot of space, did you have enough free space for 2 hours recording. From my rough estimate, it will span multiple GBs.
