Lantus SoloSTAR is a disposable single-patient-use prefilled insulin pen. To help ensure an accurate dose each time, patients should follow all steps in the Instruction Leaflet accompanying the pen: otherwise they may not get the correct amount of insulin, which may affect their blood glucose.

3 kwi 2023 · Lantus SoloStar 100 units/ml solution for injection in a pre-filled pen is a clear and colourless solution. Each pen contains 3 ml of solution for injection (equivalent to 300 units). Pack sizes of 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 and 10 pre-filled pens.
Lantus must only be used if the solution is clear and colorless with no particles visible. Always make sure you have the correct insulin before each injection. While using Lantus, do not drive or operate heavy machinery until you know how Lantus affects you. You should not drink alcohol or use other medicines that contain alcohol.
