Free slope calculator - find the slope of a line given two points, a function or the intercept step-by-step.
List the slope and y-intercept. Slope: − 4 3 - 4 3. y-intercept: (0,4) (0, 4) Free math problem solver answers your algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, and statistics homework questions with step-by-step explanations, just like a math tutor.
5 lip 2024 · How do we find the slope of horizontal and vertical lines? To find the slope of the horizontal line, \(y=4\), we could graph the line, find two points on it, and count the rise and the run. Let’s see what happens when we do this, as shown in the graph below.

28 maj 2024 · You can use this calculator in reverse and find a missing x or y coordinate! For example, consider the line that passes through the point (9, 12) and has a 12% slope. To find the point where the line crosses the y-axis (i.e., x = 0), enter 12% in percent grade (9, 12) as the coordinate of the first point, and x2 = 0.
Find the slope of the line shown: Solution Locate two points on the graph, choosing points whose coordinates are integers. We will use [latex]\left(0,-3\right)[/latex] and [latex]\left(5,1\right)[/latex].
