Text boxes in visual novels typically have backgrounds that cover the full screen, so 480x270. The text box is overlaid over the roughly bottom quarter of the screen, so it might be 60-70 pixels tall. You can usually see through the text box but important parts of the image are not placed there.
5 lut 2017 · This question is very unfortunately worded. Since high resolution art is good for both windowed and full screen mode the only thing that makes sense for them to figure out is if people prefer a 4:3 over a 16:9 wide screen resolution.

Annoyingly, what ever combo of keys he sat on has screwed with the screen size that all of the novels I have. I have to either play them in fullscreen mode ( which doesn't even use the entire screen for all of them) or the the window box becomes too small to read ...
In the case of separate files, you'll need to be drawing at a higher resolution, ideally 2x (so: 3000px tall (FHD), 2000px tall (HD)), and then export the normal sprites at half resolution and the closeups at full resolution.
