In this blog, we will analyze and compare the common differences in keyboard sizing & layouts to help you find your ideal size keyboard.
The most common keyboard sizes are Full-Sized (104 key), TKL (87 key), and 60% (68 key). Each size is unique with different features. There are other layouts too, some of the less common keyboard sizes are the 75%, 65%, and 40%. As the keyboard gets smaller, the number pad, home cluster, function row, arrows keys, and numbers are removed.
My last three keyboards also have had a dedicated key to bring up the calculator, which I've also come to love. Reading these comments though, my next one might need to be a full size with numpad on the left.
