The unit of resolution is dots per inch (dpi). Dpi is the number of dots per inch (2.5 cm). The higher the resolution (value), the more detail in your image; the lower the resolution (value), the less detail.

You can manually specify a scan size when scanning originals that cannot be detected using [Auto Size]. You can also store the specified scan size.

Select Fit to Paper to resize the scanned image automatically to fit the paper to print on. Since the image's aspect ratio is maintained, margins may appear at the top and bottom or on the left and right depending on the size of the item and paper. Select Custom to enter a value in scale setting.
