This product is a high-performance lamp light source projector of lens exchange type which can project high resolution computer screen and high quality digital image on high definition and large screen.
The relationship between picture size and projection distance varies according to the projection lens mounted. The graph below denotes the projection distances for 100-inch image.
Lens configuration: 11 groups, 14 elements, F value: 2.0, Focus distance: 12.8mm, Projection distance range: 0.7 - 5.2m, 100-inch projection distance: 1.73m, Zoom ratio: 1.0 x (electric), Focus: electric
Find the right lens for your Christie® projector. Calculate the throw distance and image size for fixed, zoom and ultra short throw lenses. Let’s get started!
30 gru 2015 · So, for example, a Canon EF 50mm f/1.2 lens is 3.4" in diameter whereas an EF 50mm f/1.8 is 2.7". The difference is more dramatic at longer focal lengths: an EF 200 f/2 is about 5" in diameter, whereas a EF 200 f/2.8 is about 3.3". Also the prices differ. Some lenses are cheap and the same number mm lens is outrageous and the same size.
Some calculations are required when designing a space that incorporates 35mm slides, film, or overhead projections. Often, you are confronted with a situation where you have a given projection distance, you want an image of a particular size, and you need to know which lens to use to achieve it.
A lens with a 2:1 can provide tons of placement flexibility but remember if you mount it 10.5 feet from the screen, the projector will output more light (Lumens) then if it is mounted 21 feet back.
