Jinn and Davi are the best heroes for the 8000 levels. Seon is a great option too. The other heroes are not advised/recommended for levels. Jinn is highly recommended due to his coin bonus skill which is helpful for leveling and will be useful in the next stage of the game - farming.

Heroes camp is an event that gives you hope in acquiring your best heroes, but gives you a misleading advert instead. It is something you should not even bother wasting your gems in.
