24 gru 2012 · Is anyone familiar with a kit, or plans, along with sourcing specialty parts, should I decide to build my own cart and/or buggy? I can weld, paint, build spoked wheels, etc. and am a fair hand at general fabrication.
4 gru 2009 · I'm completely new to driving, and I was just wondering if anyone has made their own cart, wagon or sulky for their minis? I have access to a carpenter/cabinet maker, a pipe bender, wheels and everything, I might can even talk to a few welders too.
These plans are for a 1/8th scale model, and were drawn from a full sized vehicle owned by Gordon Offord, of the famous firm of London coachbuilders. The plans originally formed part of a complete kit, which was made by "Remploy" in 1985.
13 sty 2019 · The kit is designed around stem casters, and in order to keep the same centers with the plate casters I got I widened the base by a couple of inches. I also made a couple of cutouts, added a ledger and modified two of the plywood braces to facilitate using the thing as an a-frame cart.
3 lis 2018 · Any easy entry cart with a few modifications should work. You can google that as well as plans. I have seen one that has wheel chair accessible ramp and is set for the wheelchair bound individual to do the driving. Any correctly made harness for a horse that is being used for cart/carriage work will have breeching.
We build ALL our carts to FIT the intended horse and driver, with correct, comfortable seating and leg room for the driver. All of our carts have built in safety elements, such as a dash, a fully closed in basket, and wheel/brush guards, AND they are truly easy entry.
