Its a good set, depending on the # of stars value can go high (esp if its the 4* variety). for collectors, the older CL, LB, H&F or even New H&F is more preferable (basically the irons they came out with in the 90s) since they were what made honma famous..
Sweet like a forged, long as I'd never seen (6 iron 198 y. Bullsnell measure on 5 balls, no wind) and the most important: accuracy. The new steel shaft NP 950 H is a wonder (Titleist will use on new irons). Price is other problem: it is high, higher. But none other irons come so carefully, meticulosusly packed.
I know this is an older model but the shaft is the prima donna: Twin Kick Doric R-1 flex, 2 stars, C-9 balance. Distance is further gained through the shaft bending reflex. Superb workmanship as usually expected from Honma. To me they are most suitable for slower swingers with even tempo.
