All parts can be found on e-bay for considerably less if you have the patience to shop. The following is a list of parts. required, all from a TRX400ex 4-wheeler: - crank shaft. - counter balancer. - flywheel. - Starter gears. - starter clutch.
16 lut 2019 · You will need a flywheel puller m20x1.5 right hand thread. You will need to get a crank shaft puller and splitter tool. You will need a shifter for a trx400 because the xr400 won't clear the stator cover. The trx400 has a neutral safety switch wire that must be grounded or the starter button will not work.
27 lut 2018 · Some folks have good luck with buying the e start quad lower end and doing the conversion with the quad parts.
2 lut 2008 · It is easier (and probably less expensive) to upgrade the suspension on that TTR than to buy an XR400R then pursue putting electric start on it. Plus Thumper Racing has a big bore kit for the TTR250 if you need more power. The XR400R isn't exactly a rocket either.
