31 paź 2010 · The first valve cover you posted, is a Usdm ITR V/C (no Honda badge), and the second is a JDM ITR V/C (with Honda badge). They're all interchangeable with any B-Series Vtec head. Save Share
1 sty 2004 · Easiest way to tell the difference is that the type R valve covers are red, unless they try to hide it and use a regular black valve cover. Another way to identify some of the more popular swaps are with the DOHC VTEC letters. If the DOHC is bigger then it is usually as GSR or older B16.

Max power: 112 kW (152 PS; 150 hp) at 5700 rpm. Max torque: 152 lb·ft (205 N m) at 4900 rpm. Allegedly, VTEC kicks in [yo] at around 3600 RPM.
14 sty 2015 · I looked up the cross reference applications for the 2014 OEM valve cover through the Honda Parts system. It only applies to 2009-2014 TSX. With that said I'm doubtful that the Integra Type R (DC5) valve cover will fit correctly either. Looks like I'll be painting over the stock gray valve cover.
12 mar 2015 · The difference is in the emissions, different exhaust manifold, o2 sensor, and o2 sensor placement. I believe it has a wideband o2 factory.
