22 wrz 2024 · Major update! After dropping the oil pan, I discovered a broken up piston ring sitting there in the oil. I wonder if this may not be an oil starvation issue after all, but rather an engine seizure due to a broken piston ring.
23 mar 2012 · The latest issue. ---Upon starting from Cold (Parked Overnight) Starts up no problem but upon feeling the headers, cylinder 1-2-3 are hot but cylinder 4 is totally cold. (Sitting on bike, left hand side being 1st cylinder or Chain and Sprocket side being cylinder 1)
28 maj 2016 · I am having a problem with a repeated runaway idle. The engine starts easily and settles down to a decent idle. But after revving the engine a few times, the idle will race to 3000 to 4000 rpm. I have to switch it off and restart to get the idle back down to normal.

The first is the positioning of the thermostat in the cooling system, which was not designed for engines frequently put under heavy load.

22 wrz 2021 · Engine seems to run fine at a sweet spot of mid throttle but cuts out to completely dies if you have to give it upper middle to high throttle.
