6 lut 2008 · K series ID codes are also on the front as well..... Look by where the tranny and the block meet right about there you see the lump for the starter.... It should say K20a2 for it to be a Type S or K20a for a type r engine..

15 paź 2015 · The main bearing bore code location is on the number five journal end (flywheel end). Number one journal end is on the pulley end. The main journal location code is stamped on the crankshaft counterweight directly below the rod bearing code.
9 gru 2011 · K20a is a JDM spec engine as found in the JDM EP3, DC5 and a slightly different design but still designated K20a is found in the FD2. K20a2 is the EUDM Spec engine that was also shared with the Acura Type S, so wikipedia is correct on that point.
